We had a great time at the University of Richmond. The exhibit was free and there was a "treasure hunt" that the kids participated in. The exhibits included, rocks, shells, coral, jewels, sculptures and an Egyptian mummy exhibit that we were not allowed to photograph. I definitely recommend this to all in the greater Richmond area.
Luke Skizzywalker died today, September 24, 2012. He was at least two years old but his exact age is unknown. He was a typical chameleon, a loner, slow and quiet, a hunter. We loved catching flies and letting them loose in his cage. He would snatch them out of the air with speed and precision.
Our favorite part of Luke was his walk, like a hesitant Egyptian. His favorite hiding place was behind the flowers.
Although his stay was brief, his impact on our lives was lasting. Farewell friend, and may the force be with you.
We had an A W E S O M E ! ! ! time at the air show. Besides some wind, the weather was absolutely georgeous. I think this will definitely be an annual event for the Shields's family. Here are some pics of the awesomeness that went down Saturday:

This isn't it. I have over 700 pictures of the show! When I left, my SD card was full (also took FINE quality photos).
The pictures don't show how close or loud or fast or awesome it was to see in person. They would fly by and be right above the trees. Acutally, hold on, I have a pic of that:
We got a lot of sun and had a great time. By the way, I HAD to play "Danger Zone" while editing my photos.
Yes!!! The rest of Jordan's cirriculum FINALLY came today! She's only a week and a day behind schedule... I waited 3 weeks before contacting the bookstore (that didn't have a phone line, only email) and they had never saw the order so they hadn't shipped it. They said they would get it out right away via priority but after a week confessed that they tried to get their drop shipper to deliver them straight to us. There was a hang up with that so we were waiting for books for another week via priority mail (after a month of waiting for it to arrive from the bookstore). When it arrived today, I noticed that the sender was.... yes, the bookstore. What happened? I don't know but I'm glad it's over.
Jordan, on the other hand....
Also, check out Bobby Wood's new hair cut!
He's so handsome! I had to make it black-and-white so you wouldn't be distracted by the red kool-aid moustache.
I started school today even though it was Labor Day and even though I still haven't received part of my cirriculum yet... >:( We began with a mini photo shoot and were finished by lunch (yes!!!!!). When Jordan gets the rest of her cirriculum we will be finishing around 3 o'clock on school days. Here are the pics from this morning:
Also, just to recap, here are some pics of Jj's 6th Birthday Party and a picture of her scar from where she busted her face on the bed post...
